My name is Maya Noelle Witte, daughter of Jocelyn Witte and youngest sister of Jaden and Mekhi Witte. Currently, I am a senior at Hueneme High School. I am involved in my school’s Black Student Union (BSU) program where I serve as Vice-President. I also play snare in the Hueneme marching band. I grew up volunteering in a food share program where I helped my mom collect and distribute food and clothes to homeless and food insecure families. This year I started my first job working in retail at the Camarillo Premium Outlets.

Be part of the Experience!
I am truly honored to be a contestant in the “Miss Debutante 2025” for the 20th Century Onyx Club, Inc. The 20th Century Onyx Club, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) civic and social organization whose primary mission is designed to help develop leadership, unity, mentorship, community service, and academic excellence for young African American females. The organization’s main focus is to provide scholarships to students such as myself seeking higher education in accordance with my future goal of becoming a Psychiatrist specializing in children’s mental health, specifically, children who have experienced trauma.
On February 22nd, 2025, the 20th Century Onyx Club Inc. will host its 60th Annual Debutante Ball in the Zachari Dunes Hotel at Mandalay Beach Resort. My goal is to be crowned “Miss Debutante 2025.” I am requesting your help to fulfill this goal. You can contribute in several different ways; purchasing a ticket to the ball, making a direct donation, or submitting a commercial/business ad that will be included in the ball’s booklet.
Your support will be graciously appreciated. Please complete the enclosed contribution form and return it to me no later than December 30, 2024. Make all checks payable to the 20th Century Onyx Club. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact my mother, Jocelyn Witte, at (805) 253-4282.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Sincerely,
Maya Noelle Witte
